Development stages:
The process of pharmaceutical laboratories on the development of new products is long, so Silanes want to let you know a little bit about this process.
This stage includes pinpointing either the medical condition to be treated or the idea that will improve the already-existing treatment. The drug tests are performed to identify safety, tolerance and dosage. The work done during this stage can lead to a patent request.
The product is tested with various batteries. The first one involves pharmacokinetic studies (effects of the body on the drug); the second one is on the drug dose, and the third one deals with product efficiency. This stage is carried out in large test groups.
